Slowly, but surely, I have been getting closer to Judaism. I have been developing an understanding of how holy and powerful the Torah is. Going to an introductory Jewish learning program was part of my way of getting closer to Hashem. So I was anxious to focus my attention on all the learning the program had to offer. Since I am naturally a very curious person and I love to know and understand all that I can, my hunger for Torah is very strong. The program did not disappoint. I enjoyed every single class. Also, the fact that this Yeshiva is for Baalei T’shuva, those starting to learn Torah later in life, made this program a perfect fit for me and my current level of observance (which I am slowly but surely raising). All the teachers & guest lecturers were amazing. Rabbi Lipskier, the Director of the Yeshiva, struck me in particular as an exceptional and sincere person who seeks to bring Moshiach closer. I related very well to the students, the Rabbis and the holy environment of the Yeshiva. Also, the Yeshiva is located near the ocean making for a serene environment, which I felt was a great asset to the learning experience. As a final note, my experience at the Torah by the Sea Spring program was a very good one and as with all other truly good experiences, I naturally want them to continue. I am looking forward, therefore, in the near future to taking the time, a substantial amount of time, to learn in Yeshiva. Baruch Hashem for this Yeshiva and I hope other students will follow in my foot-steps.
